Is Adam Levine Gay?

Adam Levine was born March 18, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. Levine is known as the lead singer and guitarist for the rock band Maroon 5. More recently, Levine has gained popularity aside from his band as a coach on the hit NBC talent show, The Voice.

Levine has had gay rumors attached to his name since his band, Maroon 5, won “Best New Artist” at the 2005 Grammys. In 2011, Levine shot down the gay rumors in an US Weekly interview (in which he did say his brother was gay). He said in the interview, “There’s no way to hide my straightness, but if people didn’t think there was a small chance I was gay, then I wouldn’t be doing my job very well. Look at the best ones, guys whose sexuality was always questioned. Bowie. Jagger. Freddie Mercury. I wouldn’t be the front man of a band if that question hadn’t come up at some point.”
